Feeding Infants: Nourishing Attitudes and Techniques, the latest addition
to WIC Learning Online, is now available. Health professionals, educators,
and students can update their knowledge with three new modules: “Infant
Formula Basics,” “Feeding Infants 0-6 Months,” and “Feeding Infants
6-12 Months.”
A free, web-based course, WIC Learning Online (WLOL) provides continuing
education, training, and resources. The course is available through the WIC
Works Resource System (www.nal.usda.gov/wicworks). The entire 15-module
course offers 5.5 continuing professional education hours for registered
dietitians and 5.4 hours for registered nurses. It is available anytime,
day or night, to enhance job skills economically and conveniently.
